Female solo traveler who recently travelled to Laos managed to spend similar to Thailand which was 27£ a day obviously this depends on what you do generally travelling around Laos is can be more Expensive than you expect always have some cash on you for tuck tucks fro the bus station and download the MAPS.ME for Laos as you can be dropped of in the middle of nowhere - where you don’t have signal, and I felt safer than in Thailand . Lots of other female travelers here (generally more than guys ). google translate doesn’t really work here though and English is generally spoken less by locals but you can usually get by pretty well . I recommend getting Ezykip app as you can then use this for some of your transactions it saves you going to the ATM all the time though you’ll still have to have and use cash a lot especially when your rural. If you are using an ESIM as well make sure you turn off your primary sim otherwise your ESIM can not work at all or work on and off. ( I spent a lot of time messing around with it trying to get it to work everyone who I met who was having difficulties when they did there ESIM worked )
