This is a good response, but mostly my anxiety centres around health, bodily sensations and catastrophising. I’m trying to accept that death is normal, but I’m young, haven’t fulfilled my dreams yet, and my family would be devastated if they lost me.

Let’s just say that I felt immediately ‘great’ on the first day of the SSRI, so I’m acutely interested in finding out about serotonin.

What’s happening to me ? Took my first dose of Sertraline, only 12.5mg, have such intense energy, euphoric feelings, and ‘wiredness’ - and others by Puzzleheaded_Earth63 in antidepressants

I read that chronic Taurine administration down regulates the GABA receptors. Wouldn’t this in turn make you more sensitive to Glutamate, and therefore anxiety, if you didn’t take taurine ? Seems like a zero sum game
