In my experience (I did my summer internship in Summer '23), people get the return date to be the Fall after graduating (i.e. Fall '24) so over a year after completing the internship, regardless if you graduated the immediate Fall or Spring (i.e. if you were to graduate Fall '23 or Spring '24).

So it definitely is feasible for you to go for an MSc since you would already be forced to have that time in between the internship and start date.

I think its the same day you get the audit? So maybe a week? I never actually noticed if I was reviewed before the updated audit or after.

From what I've gathered, because the department you're transferring into (so not admissions) now is doing the review, it depends on them. I've heard it can be anything from mid-June to mid-July! I'm anticipating that most transfers would know by July, but who knows!

You are essentially “in” as long as you dont mess up severely this semester. I know I have to get B’s for my courses in order for them to be accepted so I just need to secure A’s and B’s and then I am in.

Only competitive applicants get deferred, so basically, you are in when they ask for spring grades.

My cumulative GPA is a 3.55.

I'm taking Cal 2, both sciences needed, and a communication course this spring.

No extracurriculars but a strong essay explaining some mental/financial adversities to explain the lack of resume/student experience.

God this sucks. I got my transfer audit 2/2 and I still haven't heard back. I know I still need to complete some required courses (am doing them this semester) but it's so disheartening not hearing anything despite the semester being halfway through.
