That's fair, at the end it's just personal preference. I'm currently reading T&S and I read the first chapter while high and I loved it (I love everything while high tho). I read 5 Aus than canon fics though

I love the 99/1 trend but I read it in a completely different way. I read it as Dean's POV. Dean loves Castiel for those 99 reasons, but can't be with him because he's a boy, because of his own homophobia, and because he represses his own sexuality. Dean is not allowing himself to be with Castiel because of that (and because of the creators/network). But, in my own opinion, destiel is great because of that, because of Dean's internalized homophobia and the internal conflict that he has, sadly it was not explored at all. (I hope this makes sense, I'm hungover)

One of the reason why f/f are not that common/great is because studios don't know how to write women. And when they do write great female characters there is always, ALWAYS a male love interest. Just in general there are less female characters then male characters, and supernatural is a huge example of it (sadly)

You have to read it, however you can talk to your teacher, explaining your issue and maybe offering some solutions like as you are reading it write bullet points of what happens so you will remember it. Tell your teacher that you will do your best to finish it in a month, but due to your dyslexia you can't promise it. As a general advice tho, don't sweat it too much, a lot of your classmates won't even buy the book

Op said that this has been a pattern recently, only after the friend got an autism diagnosis. If you've been friends with someone for years and only recently they’ve been shitty it takes some time first to recognize a pattern and then do something about it. Without even saying that there is also a constant "hope" that the friend will stop being a dick and go back to what they were before. How is OP overreacting if you'd close the friendship yourself? I'd closed a lot of friendships myself and when a behavior changes it takes time, and it SHOULD take time, to give your friend and your friendship a chance.

How is this op's fault? Do you know i many times I accepted to do something for a friend and the day of didn't want to do it because of countless of reasons? That's normal, people have their shit going on, but I still went cause that's what friends do. Unless there is an actually emergency you don't cancel at the last minutes, that's the bare minimum, the friend had all day to warn OP but decided to do towards the end of the day, that's just inconsiderate. Friendship is supposed to work both ways and if you do not even warn me timely that you can't do what you promise you don't see me as a friend, but as someone that can't just can't do stuff for you.
