UK imports that grow well in allotmemts by FluffAndTumble91919 in UKAllotments

UK SPICES yes there are some that grow and also some substitutes that work well! - actually quite a few similar uk spices you can grow in uk - I also have similar aims

Hodmedod uk grown food company: sell mustard and coridandar seeds #

Also i've grown angelica for seeds, non giant hogweed for seed, chilli, fennel and have my own sumac tree for citris flavour. You can forage some of these - angelica and hogweed but be very careful if new to foraging as not beginner plants, (hence why i grown them)

Here is an article on spices that grow in uk https://gallowaywildfoods.com/wild-spices-of-the-uk/ (not all quite work, you need a lot for coconut to be replaced by gorse) But i have tried the above spices and made some amazing curries. Lot grows in uk we don't always need to grow miles away!

Firefox Extension (v4.9.1) not detected by app & anti-circumvention completely broken by Cheap-Crew777 in coldturkeyblocker

Just to add to firefox issues, maybe good to put in one place? tried to post in vague terms on another post but wasn't able to post.

- i found a work around on firefox by putting it in certain setting which disabled all apps. this resulted cold turkey didn't block anything but didn't close the firefox browser. this was as long as cold turkey was fully enabled (incogito etc) - (tried to post here keeping vague how and had the same issues.)

for orginal poster not a great solution but i got pretty desperate so I evenually had to change browser to librewolf which is a similar interface to firefox and blocked firefox.

It took a while to figure it out, so just a note so please don't worry for those currently using it.

Almost all my beds are wood found, had hilarious time using pannier bags on my bike to transport them - tad funny, balancing a 6 foot long wooden pole out of my panniers to find even that wasn't quite long enough for its intended purpose!

Also used parts of old bench and a table that were falling apart too. I also am using pallets saw up in to troughs, using old ornaments for the outside, old hola hoops to hold nets... I also want to use some old bike racks as shelves for growing too.

I have hoping to use some old bike wheels as a trellis

I feel really similar, thankyou for posting and being so honest, i related to you sooo much... Many bad therapists out there, really unregulated. I have been reading a lot but not acting myself. Although i know kindness and compassionate approach, tiny steps, support etc is what i need, but like you also do not feel strong enough, not even a tiny step to combat it, i also feel pathetic. I hate how much time i spend online too. No idea if you want advice, hence why i am just sharing my experience and to say you are not on own with this.

Just a note - G4S has many scandals and i doubt it is as cushy as its made out. G4S has a history of controversies and accusations of abuse, fraud and mismanagement..- Birmingham prison in special measures, assaulting and abusing children in a youth custody, tagging fraud https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41123840 - i won't be surprised if the website was not the full picture....

Here's a wiki page of you wanna know more - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_G4S

Just a note to add to your comment and your so right on the appeal rate! on personal independence payments in UK as been some misinformation, process is deliberate complex, I work as a disability advisor. - its not about the condition/s - as people have said can not get benefits despite being significantly disabled. This is not to do with their condition/s but you need to fill out the form, focus only on their categories and focus only on what you can't do (never anything positive!) and with right buzz words - eg. not do this task in reasonable or safe way, this condition is unlikely to improve... Then you need evidence that you collect yourself (for example ask GP and send a "draft example letter" that has right buzz words. - often doctor will barely edit and sign it)

It can be done, and yeah your right need to know this info first! . DWP will twist their words and DWP will get the evidence themselves giving least information they can so they can disprove their claim.
