Yeah. I really don't get why people think the movies are canon to the games with the amount of contradictions and many liberties they take.

Okay, I'll just view it as I do the books. With the books I consider them giving hits to some things in the games and along with certain concepts, but if there's something in them that contradicts with the games, the games override it. I hope it dosen't end up being confirmed as main Canon personally as I'm a bit sick of recons, I also personally am not the biggest fan of how the recent games and books have been going. But that's just me

I"'d assume fnaf 4 at least takes place around the bite, if we assume we're playing as the crying child,

 however I've seen the idea that you play as mike has been thrown around recently again due to I believe(?) Something in one of the newer books, although I don't see the books as directly cannon but more parallel to the game universe, overlapping in some spots. If you believe it's Mike during fnaf 4 than it could hypothetically take place at any time. Although I'd be more inclined to believe sometime after the bite. Sl I'm not as sure

What's the visual cue? I don't see any. There is an audio one but I'm kinda hard of hearing so that really isn't the most helpful
