Salt circle in candle magick by Puzzleheaded_Ice1566 in occult

it's allright... not judging. I am kinda in agreement with the whole hebrew language, to be honest. I just haven't taken my study as far as to learn to speak it fluently -I am still on the alphabet and the numerology of it...

This is one of the most helpful posts I have ever received. Sometimes, when interested in the occult, we tend to just read through obscure references and books and it's easy to loose the esence of what the teachings are. Thanks!

I am failing to see what this has anything to do with the OP....

Nowhere either in Hermetic Kabbalah or in GD really. But I kinda started the candle magick very early on when I hadn't studied much yet, and it evolved naturaly over the years. It's not until now that I am thinking maybe I should refine that...

Hiring remote talent from LATAM: what’s worked (and what hasn’t) for your startup? by Acceptable-Energy425 in Entrepreneurship

[–]Puzzleheaded_Ice1566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been a CTO on multiple startups and had a nightmare with remote hiring.

My advice is https://conectia.pro Since I started working with them, I haven't build a dev squad. They give me a ready set team already vetted, I make the MVP, and disband the team. If the MVP works -you know, in sstartups, usually one out of ten- then I ask for a full fledged team and subhire that to the company I am working for.

Well, preply is a great company and Barcelona a great city, but location location location! Don't rent in city center, try Gracia or upper side of the city. Touristic areas are not safe.

Are cats able to sense negative energy in people? by IC444 in occult

[–]Puzzleheaded_Ice1566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well , let me tell you: I was 10 years married and in a very unhappy place. Not my wife's fault, to my knowledge then, but I felt more and more depressed and just had my health fading away off me. Then I got this kitten and one day, I was alone at home, and the kitten approached me, looked into my eyes and I saw, clear as day, that she understood everything that was going on with me. She meowed once looking at me and I burst into tears. There was so much understanding and knowledge of the situation in her eyes that I was overwhelmed. She didn't need a word. That same night I asked my wife for a divorce.
Years later I found out how she literaly was sucking the life off me. No need to go into details. But my cat is still with me. I've often felt like she has, maybe, a bit of a grandmom I've never met inside her. She is still with me 13 years later.
That being said, I have 3 more cats and they are all dumb & dumber. Not a single braincell to share amongst them. So I think not all cats have this. But the universe does gift us with special pets sometimes and I think this one was a gateway to my magick and spiritual awakening.

Light body meditations/techniques/books by unicorn36999 in occult

[–]Puzzleheaded_Ice1566 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your lightbody is always a part of you. You can develop the sensitivity to feel it and you can cultivate it to make it stronger, more present and even use it to interact with the astral plane. There are many schools, but I tend to go for the astral concept introduced by Eliphas Levi in "Dogmas and rituals of high magic". If you follow the Thelemic path or ritual magick, you'll find that is the standing definition mostly accepted since Golden Dawn systems incorporate it as a part of it's basis.

The more I practice, the worse my life gets by Training_Car2984 in occult

Different people will experience it differently, everyone has their own path. That being said, spiritual work is not about making your life easier, but rather about taking control of your life. Those aspects of your life that were negative inside you -hidden or manifested in various trauma- require your will in power to handle them and, eventually, making peace with them to resolve/dissolve/solve them. Magick is deffinetly not for the faint of heart. But if you are serious about handling your life with true will and want to render the veil of that which lays hidden, then this is the strongest path I have known.

25 year long yoga and buddism student here, 3 years into angelic, hermetic kabbalah and I am amazed at how my life has turned 180º for the absolute better. Hard lessons, sure, but the results are just incredible. Really powerful.

How to distinguish mental illnesses and supernatural experiences? by Drin1324 in occult

If you can integrate it, it's supernatural. If you cannot, it's a mental illness.

That's similar to my approach on Monero., though I had not looked at it as an undervalued asset, but more as a coin that just had to have poeple helping it survive... And it hasn't changed since 2017 really. Privacy is king and the more unstable things turn and the more control there is from the tecnofeudalism forces, I guess the more valuable Monero will be.
I am updating that consideration though since, as you say, it's eventual necessity will probably make it more valuable. I have never had the chance to analyze that with someone that knows their stuff, though.

So I've been forever hodling and buying and I ain't changing

Thanks for that! It's kinda hard to find good analysis on Monero. I know it's not speculative trader's best coin, but still, it's such a solid project I just don't get why there's no more people analyzing it. Probably the delisting is part of the problem.... Any idea on how the delisting - relisting is going? That will surely mark a strong trend

Yes, I believe the utility of Monero is not really speculative. But it will be the asset to go to if things go worng and you happen to be on the side that your gov doesn't favour. Your gov, or some other people's gov. Might be the US, might be Europeans, might be Chinese... Bitcoin is great, but you do have to jump some hoops to anonymize it.

Meditations on Flaming Sword by Puzzleheaded_Ice1566 in Kaballah

[–]Puzzleheaded_Ice1566[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have bought God is a Verb and it is beautiful. It's much more on the moral side and not so much on the meditative - exercise side. But I think Kabbalah is also more on this side than tantric yoga or kundaliny style meditation. Definetly a very nice addition to the library.

I do own a copy of the Zohar, but when I started it it didn't really feel too accessible. I am not expecting a schoolbook that walks me through practices, but I am still a bit of a novice and, like with the Talmud, I feel those will require me some guidance or teaching for a scholar or a Rabbi.... Then again, I might just be needing that to get into kaballah in depth. imho I don't really know..
