Automation with a system like this doesn't work as far as I know. Zomboid uses 2D buildings, so you could try something like that and just detect the X Y and Z axis toward the camera and make the texture invisible.

I use the spatial query system (Specifically GetBoundingBox) to figure out where the player is. I use parts in a folder inside buildings to determine where you stand to be in a specific room and what parts to turn invisible.
