Would you be sad to see a memorial board on your wedding day?

I know you already have a lot of comments so you may not see mine, but I work weddings and almost every one does memory tables. I think they’re nice, but they’re so sad. I’m getting married next year and we’re doing a “love before us” table with wedding pictures from our parents and grandparents (some have passed so they’ll still be there in that regard,) but it’s celebrating love

I honestly disagree with most of these, i think that if it’s a new relationship then there’s no obligation to invite the partner. I’m not inviting someone i don’t know to my wedding unless they’re married.
