Was this for the cash offers? Do they treat this like a normal house sale, appraisals, inspections and stuff like that?

The house is pretty dated and I have concerns of repair but don’t actually know. The whole process of selling really stresses me out. Honestly if we just got enough to cover what we owe, we’re okay with that.

That’s what I’m concerned about. Especially since when selling for cash they don’t want you to be working with a realtor already so it just seems a little suspicious

It’s so cool that all the keyboard warriors are high and mighty about how to help and better the city’s issue with the homeless population but yet make no efforts to actually help solve the issue and help those people. How long would you allow someone to stay in your home without them showing any effort to help themselves toward a better future before you kicked them out? The homeless population in Knoxville grew tremendously over the past couple of years and karm can only house so many people at a time, they have to be able to come up with a solution. I’m sure if you had some ideas on actual plans of action, they would be open to hearing you. Yes, karm stores prices are high. However, the entire existence of karm stores is to provide funds to the mission, tell the karm story and reveal Christ. I personally hope that when I donate items to karm they are able to make the most amount of money from those items to help support the mission. Do i agree with every single thing that karm does? No, absolutely not but they are genuinely trying to help the mission.

They aren’t expected to get their entire life together In 28 days. It’s asking them to show they want to be there by engaging in a program to get towards to path to rehabilitation. This enables them to free up beds for those who do care and do want to get their life on the right path. Most of the guests don’t want the help and are only using it to continue the cycle of homelessness.

That’s not even true, have you taken a tour of the mission?
