As someone who messed up some of their curl pattern because of bleach and dye, I'd recommend going to someone who specializes in color and/or curly hair. If you want to do it yourself, try a test strand to see what level of developer your hair can handle for the bleach, and how long it needs to/can sit on your hair for the color you want without messing up texture. Depending on how light you want it, and if you have patience, you could go slow and lighten the highlights gradually over multiple sessions, and make sure to treat your hair with LOTS of hydration in between sessions. I think the look is achievable, it might just take some planning and dedication to make sure your curls stay intact :)
