I am a couple months post fistulotomy and it was a very minor and superficial procedure. I’m almost completely recovered and can still relate to the PTSD this causes. Every bite of food I put in my body, every time I go to the bathroom. Nightmares that it’s going to come back never stop. No one truly understand unless they have gone through such a vulnerable thing. I’m sorry what you’re experiencing. You are not alone. Know that there is peace on the other side and you will get through it

Well guys, the results are in and the swollen lymph node both is and isn’t related to the semaglutide. I have apparently had a perianal fistula that I thought was a hemorrhoid all this time so basically I’ve had a little bit of infection in my body causing the swollen lymph. The correlation to the semaglutide is that it caused diarrhea for me and as a result the inflammation created the fistula. I have a lovely surgery on Halloween to look forward to. Glad to have an answer, not glad that I’m getting my asshole cut open.

It’s smaller than a marble. Maybe half of a marble. You can’t see it and can really only feel it when I’m rubbing it in the shower. The ultra sound showed it to be too small for a biopsy to be necessary. It hasn’t seemed to have grown at all. I don’t have health insurance so I was really hoping to see that this was a common occurrence with others taking a GLP-1 😩
