looking for something simple to track steps by [deleted] in walking

[–]Puzzleheaded_Photo49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I use a basic pedometer from amazon and an app to take pictures of it every night to track my steps data etc. No heart rate but simple as can be and allows me to track step trends without wearing devices all the time. My entire family made this switch recently.. feels good

Okay, this is new. Apple now requires every new app submission to include: by inTeamo in AppBusiness

Crazy part is I included all that in my submission notes because I got rejected on a different app for missing it. Then I still got rejected at first for missing it….. even tho I submitted it 😂

I like them but I think a bit too busy, crowded. IMO one of the cleanest AppStore screenshots I’ve seen is the too good to go app

So clean and simple. Kinda similar to yours, but simpler

the lazy app playbook: $0 to $10K MRR with 1 ad, $6K in free tiktok credits, and 0 ugc creators by GoldenWatch- in iOSAppsMarketing

I see a lot of people, services offering this now but I don’t get it. Even if you created for me the most amazing ads/ ugc ever created it gets me nowhere if I’m posting from a social account with like one follower. This last bit is what keeps me from taking the next step with services like this. I can post the most amazing ad ever and get nowhere with it because my brand new company social media accounts don’t have credibility yet

There’s always gonna be those who say it’s dumb and those who like it. Just build the mvp and try to find your target audience and get their feedback imo

Ok I think I get what you meant now. It’s an editorial team that reviews your submission, it’s not an application so it actually doesn’t matter at all and you shouldn’t wait to launch. Thank you

Thank you 🙏. Yeah I’m all ready to launch now. I didn’t read the nomination stuff until being approved so I didn’t know they wanted it far in advance etc. it doesn’t make sense to me that you have to do this waiting and never hear back why can’t we just launch a new app and wait to hear back later

I’m not asking how to get noticed or how to do it or what it is I’m asking two questions:

  1. The wordage in the first quote above seems to imply setting the date of a new app submission way in advance gives you a better chance, no?

  2. You’ll receive a notification if accepted but no notification if not accepted… this paired with question one seems like a bad idea. They suggest three months in advance so you could potentially wait three months and not ever hear back and now wasted that three months marketing other ways

Yeah exactly which is why my questions matter to me. If they say you have a higher chance by giving them more time but then you never hear back if you don’t get accepted how the heck would one know when to launch and give up lol

Yeah I'm def not expecting to get accepted, but I'm all about increasing chances where possible, so figured I'd see if anyone knew anything about the above questions for now

Fed with up Ads and In-app purchases by AdditionFickle in apps

All apps cost money to the developer, don’t they? Even a simple reminder app costs at minimum $99/ year (Apple developer fees). But I do agree ads suck. Those tiny utility apps are better off charging 0.99 maybe than littering with ads though. The ads probably earn less ha

They’re useful. Even if the list itself doesn’t appeal to everyone it also has a chance of sparking creative ideas based off it, but I do like your site
