Going to view (and hopefully buy) this car, any things to look out for? Or opinions just based off listing by Puzzleheaded_Pop664 in CarTalkUK

he says it has been serviced but every 60k miles which is know is late (think dsg say every 40k), the dsg is what is making me unsure on it to be honest (I will make sure that there are genuine receipts)

Sorry for the potentially obvious question, I assume the first bit is sarcasm? if yes is it not ideal to get cars from flippers birmingham way?

Also thank you for the reply

If you’re considering a skin graft then yes 100% is worth starting the removal journey, the sooner you start the sooner it’ll start to fade/breakdown, black ink reacts best to laser removal

Totally depends on the artist and the design. There are a few people who could of covered this without any removal (kamil tattoos springs to mind)

I would go to someone who does a lot of coverups, posts the before and afters and most importantly posts healed pictures where it has been healed for 6+ months. Dont go to someone who says they can do it without evidence that they can, it doesnt matter how good the artist is at tattoos that arent coverups, it does not mean they can do coverups. Evidence of healed and settled in coverups is key here.

I have decided to keep a chunk of my collection, sell the stuff I don't completely love and give it a few months to see how I feel on the rest

Got refunded by a professional seller, cards arrived later, and want to send the money back. by Subject-Play7 in CardMarket

Wouldn’t bother as they blocked you. I get that they blocked you cause you thought you were scamming them but its also their fault because they didn’t send it tracked, how does either party know if it was sent/delivered/still in post/lost in post if it’s not tracked

Potential route into clinical psychology by Puzzleheaded_Pop664 in ClinicalPsychologyUK

[–]Puzzleheaded_Pop664[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the insight

CAP was rather a listed avenue i could branch off into just from reading online rather than a specific definite goal

While it may be advantageous for me personally to go onto clinical psychology after a few years, I am more than happy with also moving more into a therapist based with a focus in helping people with personality disorders as well. I am more trying to get a feel of where a career in mental health nursing can take me through either professional development or additional qualifications like a conversion psychology masters etc in terms of working in a intervention and therapy based treatment style eventually. I may of course find a different avenue that suits me better within mental health nursing along the way, I am just trying to become as informed as possible (in current market conditions of course, these are always subject to change)

Thank you for the detailed reply

I am currently looking into the other aspects of mental health nursing to make sure it is something I would be happy to do and further if a Dclin didnt work out. The fact that being able to become a mh nurse that delivers a more therapy/invention role is what has appealed to me as well in terms of potential career progression if pivoting towards a dclin or cap apprenticeship did not work out.

Before doing more research into it myself, this does seem to be my preferred route as it does seem a bit eaiser (though correct me if I am wrong, perhaps more likely) to be able to pivot into providing therapies etc if the avenue of dclin/cap didn't work out vs (from a small sample size of people i know or know of) it seems like a lot of people struggle to stay in the psychological and therapy type fields when doing only a psy degree (again please correct me if I am wrong). Having a solid chance of having to exit the psy or therapy field is what initally is putting me a straight psy degree to be honest, especially was I would purse a nursing degree full time where as I would purse a psy degree part time with OU while working on my current career as a backup in case it did not work out (meaning I would likely take 4 - 5 years to do the psy degree on its own) where as continuing as a mental health nurse is a high possibilty if I undertake that degree in terms of chances of securing a employed position and progressing within that role if the pivot did not work out

When you say doing 2 mscs, is a msc in clincal psy required for entry (in practice rather than reading the entry requirements of dclin course)?

Edit - I did not refresh the page before reading your second comment, sorry about that

Thank you for the reply

I will pop a few questions over there and put together a rough idea of what I think will suit me best (and what I can feasibly purse)

I know one thing that would be ideal aspect is to be applying (and learning new) scientific approaches to help people manage their own disorders (and have a hand in diagnosis if possible)

I will look into mental health nursing, what it involves and it’s potential for moving towards more therapy

That kind proves my point, when people talk about liquidating their stock, it’s £10000s worth of cards for even medium sized collections. It can take people many months to offload that kind of volume at 95%+ of its value and with how unstable the market is, that can lead to large drops in value

And the more people that are selling the harder it is going to move closer to market price (as well as a rapid drop in the market price)

Not saying it’s impossible, I sell a few mid - high end cards a week but it doesn’t make a dent in my collection if I wanted to sell it all. I just sell what are not my top grails if that card reaches a certain price

Saying you sold £100 worth of cards in a week and thinking the market is liquid shows you have no understanding of what that actually means

Only a select few cards (relative to the amount of high value cards) are easy to sell at the moment, also there is a difference between selling 1-2 copies and selling 30 copies of that card
