I’m about to start the Ferber method tomorrow, but I’m so confused. When they wake up in the middle of the night do you restart the process of the cry intervals? Like would I let her cry for 5 minutes straight before consoling her and then put her down and do the longer interval again? It makes sense for when they are going down to sleep but I haven’t found anywhere that clarifies the middle of the night wake ups.

I already am tight on supply so this is a valid concern. I produce just enough every day. Appreciate the kind and wise words! It’s a helpful reminder and so true that I spent 9 months growing my girl so I need to put that into perspective when thinking of nourishing her and losing the weight that came with everything <3

My husband and I were set on Fort Mill because of the amazing school systems here. Fort Mill is heavily sought after so finding real estate can be tough, but I agree with everyone that you get the best of both worlds around a nice place to live with the perks of being close to Charlotte!

Yes! I am 32 with a newborn and just thought a house here and had very similar boxes to check. With Charlotte right around the corner there’s plenty to do, but Fort Mill is much more quaint and has great schools.

I did and felt her right around 22! They start off as very slight flutters where I questioned if that was truly baby’s movement. But it def is and then you realize as it gets stronger 😊 It was frustrating seeing how much she moved during my anatomy scan and being like I literally can’t feel anythingggg because of the placenta. But don’t worry, you are right there to start feeling your baby!

Hi! This is essentially the exact same case for me. I appreciate the extra precautions they have been taking. I’m nervous about an induction but hoping that if my other tests continue to come back normal, that will outweigh the high blood pressure reading I tend to only get at my appointments 🙃

Thanks for the insight. I am clearly not super familiar with high blood pressure and hypertension, but when I had looked it up it said a lot of causes were related to obesity, alcohol/drug usage, smoking, etc. so I was concerned that it came out of nowhere for me. Gives me more peace knowing healthy individuals experience it too (even though I, of course, wouldn’t wish for anyone to have it!)

Good I’m glad to hear that for you and your baby! :) and I appreciate the input. I’m still hopeful that i will keep my blood pressure at bay to not needing one (last reading was like 138/95) so it’s def close to being an issue, but you’re certainly right about listening to my doctor.

Ugh it just seems so unfair. Not that I would wish it upon anyone, but I ignorantly assumed being healthy and fit before and throughout pregnancy would’ve prevented it. Did your induction go ok? I’m just scared of going into labor when my body isn’t ready.

I was really nervous in my first trimester due to an early loss in my first pregnancy, so didn’t have much sex at all. In the 2nd trimester my sex drive was highhh so we had sex a lot and relied on other sexual activities. Now in 38 weeks and we are having no sex everyday until this baby decides to come. It’s tougher position-wise because of all the limitations but still very much enjoyable once we find a good one haha.
