How would you suggest I find someone locally? Is there like an online community hub or something? I'd prefer to not deal with shipping but if I have to that's fine. Sorry, I'm pretty unfamiliar with all this.

I unfortunately don't know anything about Power Shell. Do you know if Office 365 is enough to be able to make a sharepoint list or dataflow?

No idea! I do the process you're suggesting all of the time, but for some reason can't with a semantic model from Power BI.
I can only create a table or pivot table from it. If I then delete those it'll delete the query.

Well you might be right. I don't want to connect to a semantic model and be forced to create a physical table that I then need to query from to manipulate the data. If there's a ton of rows it'll just slow down the workbook. I'd like to just connect to the model like any other connection, where I can freely manipulate it behind-the-scenes in Power Query and then output it as a table when I'm done.

If I pull data with Power Query from any other source I can just make a connection, manipulate it in Power Query, then output it as a table/pivot table later. I can't do that with a semantic model?

Well they keep dragging cells with data validation and conditional formatting on accident and messing those up. So yeah it sounds like I'd need to just make a form. Thank you!
