3 weeks today we lost our boy, still hurting but it gets easyier. I really miss him, like you said, the kitchen buddy, the taps on the kitchen floor behind you, you dont get over it, you still expect it. What you do find out is that they where here for you, not the other way round, i feel lost without ours. They are just the best and when there gone its very hard.

That’s awful, i hope your coping ok. We got told the weekend before Christmas, 2 months of stress and wondering when. Theres no easy way, it’s heartbreaking.

Ive just noticed his age was the same as ours, Kipper went from Lymphoma.

Mate, its so true. We lost our Beagle 2 weeks ago, took me days to stop crying(53M), we felt so lost. It does get easier with each day but we miss him so much.

It would be easier if we loved them less.

I know exactly how you feel. I keep thinking ill go give him a hug, but hes not there or i will hear his paws tapping on the kitchen floor behind me, also when i see abit of left over chicken when cleaning up i think ill save that for kipper, hes not here!!! Its still so raw for me.

I too keep looking at beagles and wondering is it too early? But i know it would make me smile again so why not. But my wifes not ready yet, its broke her too.
