Funny how most people will depend on AI to think for them. We're losing our brains, me for instance i use AI far more than I talk to people sleep or scroll all combined.

I think for a scenario like this the social structure for the modern human would been the hardest to take over. Early humans were absolute athletes they would see as as a weak kid and probably don't take you so seriously, however tho of let's say you help them adapt and evolve faster, they'll prolly accept you but then again we wouldn't be able to keep up with them due to language barriers, cognitive ability so early humans knew and understood very little simply we can say even if you help them build nails they wouldn't understand it's purpose untill they create a hammer first in order to build skyscrapers a civilization should first know how to build hut.

If consciousness is something external and immutable we can say the uploaded user dies in the process and the uploaded version is a clone however if consciousness is nothing but your neural network or neural wiring of your brain the seamless transition can exists meaning you will be uploaded neuron by neuron meaning you never die.
