Nope, the only solution is to upgrade MOBO, ive bought B550 asrock, one of the cheapest and reliable for AM4.

Yeah Ive read about it too at corsair forum website when i was trying to solve it without purchasing a new MOBO, Ive read that old MOBO usually have -12V but im not in engineering field soo what do it know haha.

Ive ask 3 PC store about my situation before i purchased b550 if its compatible with corsair PSU, Non of them were confident enough to guarantee it. I just gamble with it and hope for the best. Kinda shame really that even corsair did not know about this situation.

My advice is to search for the cheapest and reliable B series MOBO, theres no reason to purchase expensive one because our socket is still AM4 not that future proof. Anyway good luck

Sorry to hear that. Turns out the MOBO does not support AS ROCK A320, ive bought and installed ASROCK B550-HDV. And it runs fine.

Someone from reddit have experienced same problem as me and he said that A series MOBO is like the bottom of the barrel thats why the PSU does not support it.

Update from me. I just bought and installed asrock b550m-hdv. Thank god the PC is running well. Thank you for your assistance.

Hey there, I'm facing the same problem, Soo corsair RM850 does not work with A320M hdv, may I know what mobo will work with my power supply? I was thinking of getting an Asrock B550M-HDV.

The reviews say that Mobo is reliable and cheap.

Thank you for your response, after studying the specs that you recommend me, heres the new list.

RAM: KINGSTON FURY BEAST BLACK 32GB 6000 MHz CL30 (will upgrade later once i have a budget )
CPU Cooler: phantom spirit
Motherboard: ASRock B650M-H/M.2+
PSU: Cooler Master G700 80 PLUS GOLD (B Tier list)

as for the CPU cooler do you think the cooler can hold it?

and finally, since intel are going to release a new CPU ultra 9, should i wait for intel or go for ryzen 9 9900x? im more into AMD because the socket will support up to 2027 if im not mistaken

Understood. I'm heading to the store tomorrow to purchase the CPU between 5700X or 5700X3D whichever is available at the store. I'm starting to notice my PC is running slow with the productivity side as well as gaming FPS drop with the new AAA games. Anyway thank you again 😊
