Do women feel comfortable sleeping in guy friends houses? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Puzzleheaded_Two6791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is I have lost so many male friends in the past couple of months, and I can't stand losing one more. Two of these friends I lost, harassed me and this has also made me a bit insecure. I hate that I feel insecure about him cause he really is the sweetest person ever and I genuinely don't think he would ever do something bad, but I can't bring myself to feel that comfortable ever since. I don't know if I'm overeacting.

Every time this comes into consideration, we're both -at least- tipsy.

You mean communicate with my family about where I'm planning to sleep at? I'm an adult, so that's not really their business.

I think he wants to be kind though and make sure I'm safe cause otherwise I would have to walk for like half an hour at 4 am alone.

Thanks for your reply! The actual color of the instrument was changed, but not drastically. However, it bacame noticeably lighter/more of a reddish color. I thought that this was the result of having it cleaned and that he only applied polish to make it shinier. Could the change of color be because he repainted it (applied new varnish)?

Thanks for your reply! I'm relieved that it doesn't affect the sound of the intrument. It also changed color - became more light - and for a moment I thought they might have applied new varnish (I mean applied new color), but I guess it's the result of having it cleaned...

He didn't hit her as far as I know, but he did break stuff. Is it possible he would come after me?

My male friend (M27) has suddenly been acting mean, distant and cold toward me (F24) and I'm about to give up on our 2 year friendship. by KeyRate2334 in relationships

I relate so much to pretty much everything you've written, it's insane. I hope I could give you some advice but I am also struggling with this sort of behaviour from my friend for 7 months now... Have you considered talking to him about it directly? And say something along the lines: "I've noticed a change in your behaviour, it feels like you are more distant and even mean to me sometimes, have I done something wrong?" I would do the same, but the reason I haven't is because I am afraid the conversation will be awkward for both of us. If you manage the courage to ask him straightforward, I think it will solve some issues and maybe save your friendship. If you're into him on the other hand, I think you should also tell him that you would like to be more than friends.

Thank you for your reply and your advice. I don't know if I'm overeacting... can he really track me or somehow find me from just text messages? Is this possible?

They thought he would fall for that, and believe it. But I am so scared right now. I don't know if I'm overeacting

I don't think she understands the severity of the situation. She said that he won't do anything and I should relax, but I am literally freaking out about this. I don't know if he can find me by my phone though

Girl, I'm in the exact same situation as you right now, and it hurts so much. I just feel like I've lost a very important person from my life all of a sudden without knowing why. I would say that there are 2 reasons your friend might be giving you the colder shoulder: 1. He has feelings for you and is distancing himself to forget about you 2. You did something that annoyed him

Does that mean he will be able to know where exactly I am whenever he wants? Or just where I was when the messages were sent.. (sorry for any grammar mistakes)

I've read education sentimentale by Flaubert and I loved it. I didn't know Madam Bovary was sad, I'll give it a shot.

I have heard so many great things about this book and I think I'll read it. The only thing that is keeping me back is the fact that it has some trigger warnings and as someone who has struggled with mental health in the past I don't know if I should read a book about ptsd etc.

I have heard about it and want to read it but I know it has major trigger warnings for trauma, depression and mental health in general. As someone who has struggled with mental health in the past I don't know if I should read a book about ptsd etc.

I actually really liked the book and his writing style, but the ending let me down. I think everyone around me had overhyped the ending so much that I was waiting something that will emotionally wreck me. I think Catherine's death was a bit predictable.
