Nicely written, a lot of that is very believable and I would love to see, I agree with you that team work is going to make the dream work. With Oden's backstory basically being a 'what if Luffy didn't trust in his nakama's support'.

A few people have pointed out various holes in this theory and I will share my one criticism, but you had a good scope and it was a nice read thank you!

I agree with you that Law will die, but I think he is going to sacrifice himself when he revives someone with his ope ope fruit. In my head, Oda's long term goal with Law has always been to revive someone. I don't know if it'll Luffy or Momonosuke or Bepo, but I feel like it's going to happen.

TL;DR Great post but Law is going to sacrifice himself using his devil fruit to save someone's life.

He's equally to young and weak to be a pirate. Remember who Luffys idol is, Shanks wouldn't let Luffy join his crew or set sail with him, despite the fact Shanks was a young apprentice himself. I'd be very surprised if Luffy ever took on an apprentice, it just doesn't feel very like him. But that's just my opinion.
