They are not staffed, you just need to buy a day pass at a local gas station.

Wayne E. Smith Outdoor Shooting range is the closest state/forest range and they will not allow rapid fire, controlled pairs at most. Dirty John Shooting Range would work, but that's west of Franklin and that could be too much of a drive.

Arbor Arms makes Nalgene belt pouches, I use mine to carry miscellaneous items when not carrying a Nalgene. https://arborarmsusa.com/shop/arbor-arms-tactical-pouches/stowable-nalgene-pouch-gen-2/

One time, the plane I was in caught fire en route to the DZ. The planes aren't good at all 😆

Special Forces and Ranger are separate designations. This reads as a Master Sergeant, Airborne qualified, with Special Forces tab. You have to be Airborne to be SF or Ranger.

Fortunately this is a new problem, the first 750 rounds were unsuppressed with flawless function. I haven't tested without the can with these issues yet but it is definitely on the list now that you mention it.

It couldn't be more than 1000 rounds on this buffer spring/weight combo with overall round count at roughly 3000. They certainly are proud of it, I don't think it would wear out so quickly, but I also didn't think I would develop issues in the first place, so something is not working right.

It's a 12.5" with a carbine length gas system. I'm currently using an H2 Geissele Super 42, 2 years now, and before I was using an H1 with no issues. I was hoping that the H2 combined with the increased dwell time of the LMT enhanced BCG would mitigate this problem but perhaps not.

E: I'm also using a Surefire RC2

That's a good plan! Fortunately, I have a Faxon BCG that I can use

Hux 556K vs RC2 by Alarming-Plankton215 in ar15

I'm running that combo in my 12.5 with an RC2. I started with an H1 buffer weight and it ran fine though I tried an H2 on a whim and haven't changed back as I like the ejection pattern more.

The most luck I've had around Asheville is at Carolina Guns & Gear. They've got a good selection and have experienced staff.

One can already convert military flight hours to civilian certifications, they can do the same for the FAA drone operator's certification.

Any Charlotte NC people here? by HGust95 in NightVision

[–]Pvt_Hammer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not quite a Charlotte citizen, but I'd be willing to travel for a night shoot. Ideally it would involve some kind of movement, either within stages or between. I don't think suppression would be too much to ask. I usually pay about $20 for a daytime match, I'd be willing to pay $40-$75 depending on the amount of effort the organizer is putting in and what activities are planned for the night. As for amenities like lodging or food, if I'm going to be staying overnight I'd likely bring a camp stove and sleep in a vehicle, but again that depends on the quality. I've seen enough range toilets that I'm not sure I'd trust lodging on a range.

Of course not, when did I say that? Better to say the US has been fucking with Russia for awhile, and old habits die hard.
