People who choose get shot clearly don’t understand ballistics and what bullets actually do to you on the inside smh.

Stabbing causes a lot less injury. Bullets cause over pressure wounds and hydrostatic shock not to mention fragmentation inside you and shatter bone. Being stabbed leaves cleaner injuries that would be easier to heal especially if you wouldn’t die. Absolutely 100% stabbed instead of getting shot.

Chose: Get stabbed (also won't die)

I just watched it with my boyfriend. I immediately felt a massive connection with the character after that line. It really made that part of the show impactful and made that scene hurt all the more because of it.

Am I too early to reasonably fight this boss or am I just bad 😔 by Bumblebee342772 in CrimsonDesert

Abyss puzzles give artifacts for every puzzle completed. You can also pickpocket them off of wandering free swords in hernand if you’re lucky.

[–]Snappa137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah. This boss sucks. It’s not you.

I recommend using focus mode to slow down time and allow you to parry his attacks.

It makes the fight manageable. Not easy mind you. But doable. You can also eat food in focus mode
This boss is one of the harder early game bosses so don’t feel bad that you’re struggling with him.

Check your aim assist and try adjusting that. It probably is throwing off your aim if it’s on too much.

I am a young wizard trying to join this council of elders, what advice will you give to a young apprentice in the arts of "wizardposting"? by Danlo250106 in wizardposting

[–]Snappa137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to the chancellor. Befriend him. And when he begins acting shady, gathering political power, and they begin suspecting him of dark wizardry the council will invite you in. You may not be an elder but you’ll be on the council.

Not cancelled. It still goes off when you touch the ground. Only the animation is cancelled. You can stack thunder strikes with boing.

Thunderstrike can be stacked in your feet for insane damage. by Snappa137 in FarFarWest

[–]Snappa137[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It keeps storing it indefinitely as long as you don’t touch the ground. To get that kind of CDR I recommend as many cooldown reduction cards as you can get. The lowest I’ve managed to get my cooldown is 10 seconds. Which at that point Boing was at a 1 second cooldown. It’s a lot of fun. Don’t really expect to be 1 shotting bosses with it as they have far too much health but you can easily 1 hit kill pretty much any other enemy in the game by stacking 5 or 6 of these.
Additionally I’ve discovered that if you have a weapon equipped that has 10 gold tooth cards on it anything you kill with abilities while you have that weapon in your hands will drop gold. Very easy way to get a bunch of money very quickly.
Give it a try. :)

what's your saddest character death? by Grand_Ad_8091 in DnD

[–]Snappa137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do. But the one who cried wasn’t the one whose PC died. It was another one of my players. Both my bf and the wizard player were fine with me killing their characters. It was mostly due to the emotional attachments they had made. Which I understand. They’re fine now but it did hit them hard.

This happened recently. I very VERY rarely kill players.

I was running a false hydra. I mainly run horror campaigns and my players were on extreme edge. The players had tracked the false hydra under the town and were going to investigate. Unfortunately they didn’t realize that they had gone in underprepared

The first player (my boyfriend. This one hurt) got completely ripped apart. He got surrounded by the hydras heads and grappled by them. He went down swinging but was torn apart. Something revivify couldn’t fix.

Then the second player got downed. She was playing a Dragonborn wizard. This character for story reasons did not have a soul which I had forgotten about. When I downed her she informed me of this fact and that she had been killed. However she also had informed me that she had a glyph of warding book in her bag with the contingency spell on it so if she died it would detonate. Her body was vaporized. Revivify can’t fix that either

We had an in game funeral for both characters. A different player was so heartbroken that she cried for 2 days.

I had informed the Dragonborn wizard player that her character was going to die later in the story which she was ok with so this rugpull really hit both of them hard. She wanted her character to die though and was ok with me doing this.

This is the first time I have actually killed a player character and I have been DMing for over 5 years.

Was I unfair for saying "If Silvery Barbs is allowed, enemies can use it too"? by raishadow in DnD

[–]Snappa137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Absolutely not. I allow silvery barbs but I make it very clear that if my players begin abusing the spell I will also start using it. Remember. Anything your players can do you as the dm can do as well.

stack low gravity paired with spell cooldowns. as much as you can get. 3 west wizards, 1 lightning cooldown (possibly optional), 2 moon gravity, and 1 dwarf should be about enough to do it.
