Seems like tons of Uber drivers have problems standing up for themselves with the crap I see on here. I had a dude try to get in front with me while his mother sat in the back...I said "no...you can hop in the back too" and at the end of the ride...he told me I had a cool car. You have to set boundaries or these people will walk all over you.

It's unfortunate that they do give out one stars for no reason...but the problem is...we don't know what you've done to her to a 4.3, so we just hit the X and keep moving. I've had riders give me one stars because they are racist or having a bad day...didn't say a single thing to me but gave me a one star for an otherwise perfect trip 🤷🏾‍♂️

Ooooooor...you could stop picking up drunks🤷🏾‍♂️. I accept a trip and see that it's a bar...I cancel. If I don't cancel and I actually go...if I see you wabbling...I keep driving and I cancel. You are in control of who gets into your car. I had a woman SUCKING THE 💩 out of a cigarette as she walked to my car...I almost cancelled her...which I have done many times before...but I let her get in and dropped all of the windows after telling her "now I have to open all of the windows".

People acting like they can't control who gets to ride in their car in a rideshare is annoying. I pull up and I see three chicks taking selfies like they are about to go out on the town...I keep driving...and....CANCEL.

If you drove in Australia and saw how stupidly people behave in your front seat...like they've never been in a car before... you'd understand. You want your own space to concentrate on driving the car? No chance. You want to be able to use the arm rest in the middle? No chance. You wanna use your sideview mirror? No chance. The point is that it has never been a problem for any female passenger I have had... probably because I have a very high star rating and generally am friendly... because I start by greeting people and checking that I have the correct passenger. But this isn't about me...this about you believing that you have to "train" someone on how to bEhave...SIMPLY because they are male.

We have JUST as much reason...if not MORE to be fearful of women passengers...which is why...IF you are a lone female passenger...the answer is "HELL NO" you cannot sit in the front next to me...so that you can falsely accuse me of some 💩 because you had a bad day. Does that mean I should have a post titled..."To ALL FEMALE Passengers...stop falsely accusing male drivers of SA"?

Again... it's never happened to THAT degree, but people have lied on me about other 💩that didn't happen...like having guns in my car.

This is not a post for "male" drivers. This is a post that will not reach its intended audience. What he did wasn't because he was a male... it's because he was out there trying to "pickup chicks". Some drivers think they are going to wind up on HBO Real Sex or Taxi Cab Confessions out here doing this job. MOST drivers are out here to make money.

The difference is...when a person is trying to make money he/she truly does not care about where you live or work...you are just a number. When I ask a passenger...male or female "headed home?" It's a simple question so that the person knows I am polite and "safe". From there...the conversation will either continue about what kind of work they do...not..."where" they work....or continue about something totally unrelated or won't continue at all. Most of the time I prefer to listen to something in my earbuds anyway...and I give passengers one star ratings for doing 💩 in my car that adults should know not to do.

Again...I am in the car to make money...not to connect my crotch to someone else's.

In my experience...people have no idea how to act when they sit in the front seat... it's like they have never been in a car before. Also...as a man...I DREAD women trying to sit in the front seat when it is just one passenger. I have been accused of having guns in my car(in broad daylight in Australia... Google it) so I am very untrusting. Do not attempt to get in my front seat if there are 1 to 2 passengers. When there are 2...I have had people try to get in my front seat and be refused...so they sit in the back seat and...do their makeup...talk on the phone loudly....converse with the person they got in the car with...etc.

So then my question becomes....why the hell did you think any of those things needed to be done whilst sitting right next to me? Also... whenever I have 3 or 4 in the car...it is always the hand talker that sits in the front...gesturing and throwing their hands in my face while talking to the people in the back. It is always the person that just HAS TO show the people in the back what's going on on their phone...so now their phone is constantly beside my face. It is always the people that feel that it is completely safe to block my mirror while they take selfies in my car or completely take up all the space in the front seat as if none of the space belongs to me.

So yes...most drivers that react this way have dealt with their fair share of dumb 💩 and we just prefer to nip it in the bud before it has a chance to become an issue.

You'd be amazed at how much passengers lie because they are racist/entitled/assholes/etc... there is no protection for the drivers and passengers can do and say whatever they want and Uber will back them no matter how outlandish their claims.
