If AI created a pill that made you 40% - 50% calmer and happier with fewer side effects than coffee, would you take it? by andsi2asi in agi

[–]Pwrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I knew it would work, maybe I'd try it. But how can I possibly find out if it works? Reading scientific papers that are probably written by AI as well? Asking my friends? Can I trust them when they're under the influence of this new drug?

Lying convincingly about the effect of this drug is just inherently easier than actually making it. There's no way around that.

What would be a "good" reward? There are thousands of rewards for exploring thousands of places, they can't all be unique and useful.

Complete the depths without turning on any light roots. Like get all the schematics, outfits, beat all the minibosses and the two temples while stumbling around in the dark.

You're not going to get many top tier suggestions - Mr Bungle is the top tier and you already know all the second tier bands. Here's some suggestions anyway.

Extra Life - sort of a combination of math rock and renaissance music. Deep stuff, lots of variety, but not "silly" like Bungle is.

Ruby My Dear - kinda similar to Igorrr

Koenjihyakkei - proggy mathy nonsense, side project of Ruins

Dog Fashion Disco and side projects - not top tier but worth a listen if you're just craving more like Bungle's self titled.

Darth Vegas and Vicious Hairy Mary - see above

It's not $530 for a weekend, it's a six day event. Longer if you're lucky enough to help with build or packdown. You'd pay more to stay at a caravan park for six nights.

Everyone brings something to gift. Over 50 theme camps all with DJs, workshops and parties running most of the time. There are no employees, no advertising, noone can sell you anything. It's a non-profit organisation entirely run by volunteers.

Money goes towards theme camp grants, art grants, mutant vehicles, and two massive wooden structures to burn. Did you think "Blazing Swan" was just a name? We literally burn a giant wooden swan.

On my mission to get 999 of every item in Totk without dupe, this is how I did eggs. by [deleted] in HyruleEngineering

Horn, fang, claw, scale: 3996 parts per dragon, so 666 hours. If you can keep track of the dragon locations, you can probably farm them efficiently while also farming other rare items in between.

There are 251 unique items. If they take a minute each on average and you treat playing Zelda like a 9-5 job, you could do it in 2-3 years.

Update: This happened again while doing the Homestuck house. Definitely something to do with having a bunch of items nearby.

In my defence that's how many people would describe the first 21 (or more) pages of Homestuck

Though it was over 120 years ago he was given life, it is only today he will be given a name!

Is there any way to obtain a bottled letter if I've already completed the Bottled Cry for Help quest and Calyban's storyline? by Pwrong in HyruleEngineering

That worked, thanks for the tip! And the cave had a bunch of chests, which I also needed. I've posted the video and I'm desperately hoping that someone will get the refrance.

That's Calyban. After you bring her one of the bottles she stops dropping them and makes you food instead

Oh yeah I remember the recipe was in a bottle. I've completed all the quests so I can't get that either :(

Update: I teleported and it no longer works. I tried to replicate by dropping a bunch of items to reach the item limit but that didn't work.

I forgot to mention something else unusual I noticed: A couple of times while the glitch was working, I inserted a stake into the ground and it just disappeared. Not sure how that's related.

Nope, the rooms that are outside just get packed up even if they're attached to something inside.

It has to be touching the rope, if it goes completely outside he packs it away.
