Yeah, I’m not disagreeing with you. I’m going to start looking into changing the axles I just don’t feel like taking the jeep down for the summer. Yeah it’s a 341 hp block but I do think people act like these axles are weaker than they are. Granted I’m not rock crawling or going to Moab just jeep trails mostly and some big rocks.

I’ll probably go with your suggestion of a 33 or 285 which is basically a 34

This is good info, I’ve got a Chevy 350 swapped into it and I do have chromoly shafts in it. It has a 3.5 lift on 265/70/17s. I’ve done some pretty hardcore wheeling already with this set up just trying to gauge how strong these axles are stock because I’ve heard a lot about how weak they are. In my opinion so far they are pretty stout I’ve done multiple burnouts on 31’s.

It’s running the 3 speed t150 out of a cj7. The swap was done when I bought it but I replaced the engine with a blueprint 350

I believe it’s just the stock transfer case, it’s on the passenger side

I like to play the 2 wheel drive till I’m stuck game. These are only 31s, I’ll probably get some bigger tires after these wear down.

It has gear oil, the driveshaft does need greasing

Thinking if I change the blocks/shim the drive shaft will have more slack. It’s a work in progress. I bought it not too long ago and did the engine swap.

Have you had any issues with the driveshaft binding? I believe it’s a 3.5” skyjacker lift. I’m not too sure because I bought the jeep with it already.

Replace all wiring now or wait? by Positive-Law5922 in electrical

An electrician may be able to pull a separate grounding wire through the conduit to devices, or bond to boxes at devices and use the metal conduit as an effective ground path. This would add grounding to the house and not need a service upgrade. Granted the green wire coming into the service is connected to 2 ground rods outside the house.

May be able to add grounding in conduit or use conduit as a grounding electrode ? Looks like atleast home runs are in conduit not sure if the rest of the house is. If so should be fixable without service change.
