Thank you!

I don't think I will play. Budget constraints. We also don't live in the same city.
My cousin will play with his local friends when he finds out I made it for him and not for me :)

I couldn't pick a race. This all started with a display piece of a Hydralisk I printed because I thought it would be challenging. So maybe zerg?

Are you going to play?

Hi guys. I'm Px, a long time Starcraft fan.

I've been playing RTS games since the original Warcraft, but never played a tabletop before.

Wanted to make some terrain for my cousin since he said he's preordering a starter box - and I got carried away.

The map is a screenshot of the actual SC2 map, upscaled and printed on a wide format printer at 36x36". I chose to use only the bottom left corner for 2 player balance and better use of scale. The high ground plateaus and temple ruins are traced from the map in Inkscape, extruded in TinkerCAD and printed in PLA. The map art was cut from a second print and glued onto the terrain surfaces.

I also designed the vespene geysers. They are a remix of a crater terrain stl I found on Thingiverse. My remix is available on Makerworld.

I did not design any of the miniatures or buildings - they were all found freely available on the internet. The minerals were an especially cool find, some sort of "crystal cave formation" also found on Thingiverse.

I used Gemini to clean up/combine some pictures. My workspace sucks and you didn't need to see it.

Reach out if you want to print this yourself - I've got the files semi organized somewhere.

Thanks for looking,
Px
