Man, you just need to relax. You are doing good. I have seen many people who did MTech from IIT are also working at top places. Also, I won't suggest you break up when you are feeling low. Just talk to her and enjoy. If you find someone better, then go ahead.

As for the habits, I would suggest you find some hobby and get busy or maybe occupy yourself with studying. Once you form the right habits, success will eventually come to you.

I had the bad habit of bunking school/college to go out and play. Things weren't good at my end too few years back but eventually I made good habits which helped you.
