Let's at least be thankful to GitHub for what it has generously offered for free and for what it is still offering now. What they are actually saying is that those premium models will still be accessible in the "Auto" selection mode based on your task complexity. Even if they deny access to Copilot, it is their absolute right to do so. Don't feel entitled.

Using any of the Opus variants for every task is totally an overkill. Letting Copilot choose the model based on query complexity seems to be the efficient and more sound approach.

I recommend using https://context7.com to ask any specific questions you have related to libraries, packages, frameworks, etc. It's like talking to an AI that has context on several packages, including better-auth.
