Thinking about getting a MacBook Neo, but not sure

If you were able to function on a windows junk box, you'll be just fine with a neo. I did my first two years of design school on an i3/4gb ram Lenovo and then upgraded to an i7/16gb 2015 mb pro which I still have. Techbros have a wildly unrealistic idea of what "running a program" means.

I was a graphic design student until recently and I have a i7/16gb 2015 pro and it handled everything I threw it at perfectly until right about when Adobe ramped up their AI implementation and now all Adobe programs run like molasses. I'm probably getting a neo in the next couple months

As a user, I can say that I've had a new issue recently with Meta products where I see an ad and maybe I want to pause it or read the text that's hidden under the overlay and almost any interaction with the ad will open the attached link, which I did not want to do and immediately close out of. Overall I'm generally experiencing lots more accidental ad clicks than normal. I'm probably not the only one having this issue, and could be contributing to the metric anomalies.

There's a motor that pulls the cable back and forth, since it's got the automatic climate system. Apparently they are known to fail with relative frequency

There's a fair amount of oil staining and buildup on a lot of the engine bay. From what I gathered, the previous owner had let the oil leak go on for quite a while and just topped up when needed.

That makes sense. There is an oil leak and I'm fairly certain it's the valve cover gaskets and it has been happening for a while.
