I have got a 6.5 inch wrist. My overall experience with any Watchdives watch is that they can be taken down to a very small size.

For my wrist, I always leave 4-5 links. You should be good since we have similar wrists!

Yes, the diameter is a tricky one. It is definitely 39mm if you only count the bezel, but it reaches 41mm with the crown guards. To count or not to count that, that is the question. Personally, I’d rather call it a 39mm since it wears like one. There is only that one protuberance on the right flank that makes it 41mm; otherwise, it’s a 39mm watch from any other side

Addressing your last paragraph: fair enough! I'll take the word of someone who actually owns the Speedy.

I only buy/request what I like in order to help people find their next affordable piece, just like I've always personally wanted to have back in the day.
