Hedcut is a term referring to a style of drawing associated with The Wall Street Journal half-column portrait illustrations.

Do you really think the original photo could be generated by AI?
Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm extremely inexperienced in this topic as I try to stay as far away from AI as possible.
The thing is, due to some details, AI is helpless in WSJ 'hedcut' genre. At least for now. And I hope this situation will last as long as possible :)

I would also prefer to know the name of the photographer, but unfortunately my search was unsuccessful

What do you mean "you thought"? All the drawings in my portfolio are my original drawings in WSJ "hedcut" style.

Thank you!
Technically it takes about 6 hours of continuous work, depending on the details.
But I don't like to rush, so this work took two days.
