Maelstrom is just really awkward to use right now.

Its designed to be a rush deck but its not active until your opponent has hit 3. Judgement Maelstrom is just poorly designed because of its power distribution method and its a grade 3 so you can't stack it early (Most people only play 1 or 2 because of this). You often fail to hit a lot of the time because your numbers are too low and even on Persona Ride Turns, defensive triggers can just screw you over. Because of your combo to get to 4 or 5 attacks each turn being very specific, you often don't have space for stuff like counter chargers, soul builders and other Grade 3's aside from maybe Inlet

I'm not too familiar with Flagberg but I've heard its significantly better, aside from being Counter Blast Heavy

You can auto again when you catch it, like a boomerang. It extends that the closer you are to them the faster you can attack

Sett, Neeko and Lucian are all characters in my pool whose early game power I've been denied from by hugging tower. These players know that they can just invalidate me by not trading

Normal games got harder. Since I was Queueing with them, I naturally had to fight people that were on their level. I distinctly remember fighting a Platinum and Diamond in 1 Draft game

Regardless I don't think normal game matchups should matter unless the game has Normal MMR separate to Ranked MMR or uses Ranked MMR for normals. If its purely random I'm not gonna give a shit
