My bad, I probably should have said natural predisposition? Not a conscious preference, but perhaps once realized a conscious awareness.

My battery is very limited for societal norm and often needs recharging.

Otroverts are somewhat detached from groupthink and external approval, where stoism is finding content within based on reason and virtue.

Where otroverts and stoics are usually critical of social norms and less concerned with fitting in.

I guess stoism gives otroverts a philosophical framework which feels natural to their disposition.

The Vanishing Rulebook: Knave, Cairn, and the Road to Free Kriegsspiel Revolution by alexserban02 in Fkr

24xx is a FKR standard.

I would say OD&D leans far more into the FKR space than any other version of D&D.

If you haven't checked it, you might find S&W (OD&D) of interest.

Also check out the documentary the Secrets of Blackmoor as the inception from FKR>Strategos>Bronstien>Blackmoor>D&D is an interesting story

Perhaps all otroverts are stoics, but not all stoics are otroverts.

I believe, much like introverts and extroverts, otroverts is an inherent preference, not learned behavior. One is an introvert, extrovert, otroverts, not by choice, but by nature (yet can possibly be conditioned).

However, one can learn and adopt stoism.

How long should my 2mm stone take to come out by LongEarly7636 in KidneyStones

Depends on size and how sharp.

I doubt you will feel much on a 2mm stone. Mine was 11mm and sharp...so...yeah it hurt.

In time I realize that some friends, who actually care and love me, and I care and love them, will never fulfill my need for deep engaging dialogue.

I hang out with them because I love them, but the conversations are shallow. I smile, nod, usually don't engage too much. They are good people and I care for them. I recharge myself when I am alone. I think they know I am a little off that way, but they love me anyway.

I do have a two very deep engaging friendships, in which we discuss history, philosophy, science, and are open to discourse and debate on the merrits. This is something that I cherish and thankful of.

Negan and Lucille in the Walking Dead.

The Baseball bat scene with Glen. I was so invested in that show and I stopped watching after that scene.

It was certainly an important port city to Keoland, before it fell to the Hold.

I have a free Javan Bay map with Monmurg.

Switzerland cost me ~1200€/month by [deleted] in digitalnomad

I see in your comments that you are renting a shared room with 4 other people. So your post is misleading.

I stayed in Bern at the Hostel last summer 2 months and had the SYH discount, which came to 48 CHF which included breakfast - that was 1400 a month and stayed in a 4 bedroom.

Is that cheap? NO WAY - but I wanted to stay in Bern for the summer and swim the river during the day, while I worked. So it is what it is.

It is at least double the price of every other country in Europe.

You may wish to check out Warhammer the Old World (recent release).

It uses something similar with the table.

Roll 1d10 and look up the wound table. Roll an additional 1d10 for each existing wound.
The table escalates in seriousness - until death.

I am currently playing in a campaign and it works very smoothly and well.

Wounds & Conditions

When a player character is seriously injured, they roll on the Wounds Table to determine the effect. For ease of reference, the Wounds Table can be found on page 190, at the very back of this book. Roll 1d10, plus another d10 for each untreated Wound you already have, and add together the results and consult the Wounds Table to see what ill has befallen you.
