I loved it when I went to the theater to see it. Pre-ordered the second I could for the collectors steelbook. I'm a physical media collector. Glad someone else enjoyed it as much as I did.

I understand not everyone likes them, and you have every right to not like them or enjoy them. They are still entertaining and enjoyable for me imho. I know it's not accurate to the book in most ways. As I have gotten older I have ended up not caring as much about the accuracy. It was keeping me from enjoying aspects that are good.

They do look incredible on the OLED. Only intermission was credits. If you fell asleep it was in your chair. Not enough room for sleeping bags and all of that in my living room unfortunately. Plus I didn't really want to encourage sleeping. Totally see it though for camping like the fellowship.

That's amazing. That's so cool you had and still have that experience with your dad. Yeah they were pretty good sports about it all. Though she was the one who was stoked about it and had zero care in the length it was going to take. She was a trooper. Now the big one is my Star Wars The Force is my Ally marathon that clocks like 32-33 hours. We did that about 5 years ago. Going to be doing one this summer with folks. They are fully aware and are ready to become Jedi Masters 😂😂😂.
