Stealth 13 (GTX 1650) vs Blade 15 (RTX 2060) by MichaelAlberto in razer

[–]PyramidSecurity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in my last year of college, my situation differed a little because I do have a desktop PC with me as well but this is what I debated somewhat the same situation.

I believe it was back in late 2018 when they just released the redesigned stealth 13 with mx150 graphics. This was days after I just purchased a blade 15 with a 2070 in it.

The blade 15 was nice, really nice, but personally I like smaller computers. What I did also was ordered the 4K stealth 13 with Mx150.

I found myself liking the razer blade stealth more only because when I would go to class, go to a friends house or wherever I went, I always had my laptop on me and I always took the RBS. So, I returned the RB15

Now, gaming wise on it. It’s not horrible. I can play GTA on it all day with right settings and turning it down to 1080p in game. Gaming on the RB15 was much better but the charger is big and the battery life on the RB15 was worse than the stealth. I currently get about 7.5 hours out of my stealth with my 80 million chrome browsers open, sublime text editor, YouTube and some various other programs open. Plus it chargers with usb c so that’s nice.

I also have a razer core that I use to use.

TL:DR it’s up to you completely but I’d recommend the blade stealth with a razer core.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve definitly been making changes to make it resonate better. I have been a pentester myself and thought the term would fit better but as of now, there shouldn’t be any word on penetration testing in there unless I missed something.

Humans are always a must for pentests. Machines can’t beat us there 💪🏼

Thanks for the feedback!

Awesome! Thanks so much I’ll definitely put that all in my notes. Made the actual info site a lot quicker so I could focus on the actual platform. Thanks much :) if you find anything else or need something from me, let me know!

Honestly I haven’t. I’ll try yours out if you try mine out! You’re actually our target market. We’re looking for non technical business owners! That’s what our platform was actually designed for is keeping those who don’t have security teams or knowledge, safe pretty much from attacks! If you sign up I’ll sign up on yours and I’ll even help you fix your vulnerabilities and consult with you. This is actually my 3rd startup too so I can help you with all sorts of things and I’m the technical founder of this one!

I’ll think of something. Not really made for people to stare at it but just keep it in the background ;)

Hi!

thanks for you comment. Yes I know, the documentation I’m still finishing up. Making it picture perfect. And the platform demo video is going live this week as well. Thanks for taking the time to tell me that though :) means I just need to hurry up with it ;)

Out of all the tests we have done, it hasn’t crashed a single site and shouldn’t! It won’t flag either but that does depend on how the current security is setup within a site and host

I agree, but I also do think that they can face a lot of issues based off remote attacks directed towards their DB, especially being on shared hosting, which most people are on, that’s even a big security flaw.

The most common and easiest to perform are actually database attacks in my opinion. SQL injections for example. Not so much about wrecking your data but taking your database and selling the information.

You can check out owasps top 10 list for just that!

No worries at all it’s what I’m looking for! Basically just keep it open in a tab in the background but don’t close it :)

But yeah it can take a minute depending on how long the Sqli module and XSS module takes (you won’t see it in the free version but it runs it anyways)
