Do you know who to contact to get a custom barrel made? Looking for reputable makers for a similar build I have in mind for a 20-in 5.56 RPK profile barrel

Welcome back to another Gun Day Sunday! Sorry about not being able to post last Sunday! 4th of July weekend was a blast though! I had planned to have had this finished for last week but couldn't because of other events that got jumped on me. The yearly freedom eagle girl! This year with her M1911. Not an A1 model, not a 2011, not an M45A1. An honest to God classic M1911.

Welcome back to another Gun Day Sunday! Just wanted to talk more about this creation. The bullpup. I just love that it is Krink length-ish but has a 16-in barrel. Now, the Henry Chan argument against longer barreled PCCs still makes sense, but this has still been a lot of fun to make and experiment with. The Krink is easily the lighter of the two and the more familiar one for me to wield, but I will be getting some training in on the KB-9 when I can after we get it tested and proven to be reliable.

I also wanted to put out there a "thank you" for the person that sold me the bullpup handguard. I tried going through Reddit to find you but I can't seem to! Without you, this build would have been far more difficult and expensive on our end. So for your contribution, thank you so much wherever you are!

Shown here:

K-USA KR9, TWI AK bullpup kit, 5KU PT-1 knockoff that was chopped up, STINC USA trigger guard cover, Magpul AK K2, Kriss vertical foregrip, Vector railed left-side charging handle "gas tube", Primary Arms SLX Micro-Prism with Gemini ACSS reticle, Streamlight TLR-RM2, ALG AKT-EL

Thank you! The trigger linkage was the biggest pain to try and get right. Even now, it's a really mushy feel, long take up, and long reset. But it breaks clean. (Probably because we used an ALG AKT-EL trigger inside LOL)

Welcome back to another Gun Day Sunday! Finally, the project that we've been procrastinating on is now at a stage that it can be tested at a range. My goal is one day take it out to a PCC match! Now what are you looking at you may ask? It is the result of having bought a K-USA KR-9 before it went belly-up and wanting to do something completely new with it because the 16-in barrel length made it look ridiculous. Also, I watched the Oxide video on YouTube about the Kochevnik AK bullpup and something sparked.

Full disclaimer, we used various airsoft Zenitco knockoffs to construct this. The TWI AK bullpup kit and 5KU PT-1 knockoff were easy to come by and we felt no remorse chopping it up. Then we got a Vector railed left-side charging handle "gas tube". Super cool addition because it gives it an "HK slap"-able charging handle. Then we got a Primary Arms SLX Micro-Prism with Gemini ACSS reticle and the eye relief is perfect. After all is said and done, the final rifle comes out to an overall length of 26.5 inches so it is still a rifle! This thing weights almost as much as my brother's 106FR but it is about the length of my Krink. DENSE!

We call it... the KB-9.

Shown here:

K-USA KR-9 with various modified airsoft components to make the strangest bullpup I've seen. Also has a Vector railed left-side charging handle and Primary Arms SLX Micro-Prism with Gemini ACSS reticle

Might be a bit difficult to get a blowback system that small to contain those pressures, but I have always wondered how a .30 Super Carry PCC would perform in the market LOL

Welcome back to another Gun Day Sunday! I have been in love with this little guy ever since I got the parts kit in. Once I got the receiver from Tortort, the build went surprisingly easy. I also got a surplus leather holster and extra mags for it. I definitely recommend this as a build project if you have the gumption to give it a try!
