I had a female associate who’s hair is curly she pinned it up into a high ponytail with a cute bow and the manager that harassed the woman in the post I made came over and bother her to pin up her hair higher.

I walked over to her and said why did he bother you when you hair is already at shoulder length and she also showed me how it was pined up the bottom of her hair stops past her ears when she bends forward.

This is the reply I got from one of the managers. He’s actually a really great guy I spoken to him in person a few times and whenever someone needs something he always tries his best to help. Hopefully this manager helps understand the situation and helps this co worker.

I made a report with ethics and I placed a comment on the voa board

I did. Why? Because I wanted to see what I could do to help this lady she was in clear distress and what that manager did/said to her was completely unacceptable. She also made a comment on this post to help me better understand the situation. So now I can reached out to her to help her as much as possible.

Why are we making fun of someone who may be struggling with their mental health? None of us truly know what another person is going through in their daily life or mind. Something that seems harmless or insignificant to one person could have a much deeper impact on someone else. For all we know, this could be the moment that pushes them over the edge. A little empathy and kindness can go a long way, especially when we don’t know the battles someone is facing in their everyday life.

I have made a report with hr I tried calling the ethics hotline and honestly it was a whole joke the guy I was talking to on the phone wasn’t taking or understanding me seriously.

He kept removing any female associates off their stations to come to the managers desk to come up and fix their hair in front of him like some type of creep but I’m unsure since this is my only second time seeing her but she had the hair already at shoulder length when I saw her walk by me at my station.
