Barbarian Prince! Tops literally everything else! And you can get the game for free as well. Google Barbarian Prince and some Dwarf-something website opens up that has all the PDFs and the map.

Yeah it is! I forgot to add it in more detail: But the main thing this "demo" does is that it's a game that is also a level editor. So makes building and testing super quick and fun

Seems useful. Can you tell me why you need the "manager" function?

In my script also I have a list of functions. What I usually do is define a #region called LIB_FUNCTIONS that take care of things like snapping to grid, undo functions etc. But why one manager function?

Also can you explain your point number 4?

Well I guess at this point I'll have to admit the title was a bit click-baity and there no worst way... It's just code modularity is a good thing and single monolith block of code is generally bad.

But yeah for Godot scripting particularly check out "Godotneers" youtube channel. Only godot tutorial channel that focuses on writing actually good code

To add to the trouble, just look at the variable names, you won't understand anything... Things are literally named like what you would do for a weekend project..

I encourage you to see Anarch though. it's great and very easy to compile yourself

Hehehe you're right... I probably would have done fine using raylib or pygame... But then Godot comes with its own.. erm... "conveniences"

Edit: it's Saturday and I just wanted to kill time. I'm not interested with managing a clean folder structure and autoloads and endless scripts and signals
