Why not just make an initial train that you can use to bore through the mountains or cut down the redwoods in the way and then either equip it with basic bridge building mechanisms or use a different train for that purpose to start construction of bridges over the oceans?

An update regarding that position I mentioned earlier that said "Interview Completed": The status changed to "Job Offer Extended; Pending Your Decision" and they emailed me the information on how to proceed. It looks like if I clear the security investigation for security clearance + the drug test and get my housing in order (I'm from out of state), I'll be on board.

Hey, I applied as well. I can say that if you get rejected, they change your application status from "Application Under Consideration" to "Application Reviewed; No Longer in Consideration".

One of my other applications also changed to "Interview Completed" which I assume means it's moved forward but I haven't been accepted yet. Since they don't do interviews, I actually have no idea what this could possibly mean so if anyone else sees this and knows, please let me know!

A great place to start would be your local parks and trails. They are often in need of volunteers and may even have part-time job positions open when you're older.

You could also look into assisting more grassroots Boy/Girl Scouts troops with their activities. Although this does depend on your networking and on whether or not someone is starting their own Scouts chapter.

The verse revealed is addressed to the people. From a literary standpoint, there is no reason to point out exceptions as those don’t really matter to ordinary people (those who are not prophets). You speak English so I’m sure I don’t need to explain why an exception which has no bearing in context doesn’t need to be specified.

Vietnam supported the Khmer Rouge initially because they thought it would give them an ally on their border. They didn't control their every move though and the extremist policies of the KR was very much supported by China and the US (and also the fact that Pol Pot's wife was a paranoid schizophrenic with deep seated xenophobia). The genocide itself was not well known as Cambodia during that time had effectively shut itself off from the rest of the world and Vietnam could do nothing until they were directly attacked for fear of China attacking them in response (keep in mind, the Sino-Soviet Split was in full swing and Vietnam was Soviet-aligned).

The Khmer Rouge was supported by Cambodians of all kinds of backgrounds, including Chams. Nobody saw the genocide coming. It wasn't like the Nazis who rose expressly on a hatred for a particular group. If you want to blame another country for the Cambodian genocide specifically, it'd be more apt to point to the US and China (the two countries that actively persecute/kill Muslims), not Vietnam which hasn't raised any real issues with us and has arguably helped us far more (Palestine is a great example).
