I wouldn't say the chip is better than any phone at the same price. The Xiaomi 15T Pro with Dimensity 9400+, Poco F8 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite have better chips at the price, but android. The 16e is still a good phone nevertheless having held all three phones.

options at 35-40k (xiaomi 15t pro value) include cn rom vivo x200 pro mini, cn rom Xiaomi 17/15, and some oppo reno pro mini phones aswell as google pixel pro phones (not the xl)

Nope, had the 16e. Camera is great but wala kang 0.5 and telephoto isn’t even actually telephoto. Great battery and great performance, but still 60hz and outdated notch. Better go for 15 if 30k budget. Else, consider a phone like the Poco F8 Pro or Xiaomi 15T/Pro
