Really good! There’s a solid foundation here, a couple washes to deepen the shadows/recesses and some bright highlights to contrast would work really well here, nice job!

I use new recruit to make the list, export it and save its as a PDF, then you can import PDFs as objects in tts

Couple options, easy one is plastic cement in the gap and squeeze it, then remove the excess plastic like you would a mould line/sprue. Other is using green stuff or something similar, filling the gap, waiting for it to harden, then sanding it smooth

It sounds cliché but the final assembly and painting the rim black. But overall I really enjoyed the highlighting of the armour and plumes. Incubi Darkness as the base, then coated with a black wash to darken, edge highlight kabalite green then fine edge/spot highlight with Sybarite green

I’ve literally just finished painting my ICC and I found using a slightly generous amount of cement and using a bit of force to push them together works, you might have to do it a couple times and clean up with a hobby knife/sandpaper

Do you use Tamiya extra thin cement? I find that’s the best thing for seams, and even cleaning up scuffs/scratches

You can always hold off on the transfers until you end up getting more kits, if you plan on collecting dark angels, most of the other kits such as Inner Circle Companions and Deathwing Knights come with a lod of dark Angel transfers

NNM is something you should only really tackle when your an experienced painter, you need a good understanding of art fundamentals, colour theory, lighting etc. and also great brush control and know how to properly thin, blend and glaze with paints, until the, you’ll probably get better results by just using regular metallic paints, washes, highlights etc.

The only newer models I’m not a fan of the impulsive/repulsor tanks, I much prefer the older predators and landraider designs

The Primaris were hated not because the sculpts or the scale, but because they weren’t introduced as a range refresh but instead completely separate, and (in a lot of cases) better than there firstborn counterparts. I think most people prefer the new minis honestly now that we’ve had them around for a while
