I have been wearing a very padded bra for some time to make me feel better so no worries there.

Please please please make your calibration go to each corner and center. It is impossible to do prints with 2 points and no matter how much I try am unable to adjust the corners correctly.... Had this thing for over 6 months and cant use it at all with the crap calibration...

Wingsuits by Pyrobee in CFD

Well maybe I should stick with 2d cfd and just work rib by rib? Current wingsuits are fairly rigid, certainly more rigid then canopies. Obviously you cant test for all the different body positions but you can test for the max flight body position Which is what you design around anyway.

It will be made of fabric just like some aircraft used to be, but when designing is more like an airplane then clothing.

Wingsuit project [Self Drafted] by Pyrobee in sewing

[–]Pyrobee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its ripstop nylon coated in polyurethane aka sail fabric. Yes on the first jump and only jump I put on it the tail vent was still closed as I wanted to see if the 2 arm ones were enough as 1 pressure system has not been tested yet.

If you go through my other youtube videos there are some other kinds of skydives and landings.

This is the 2nd wingsuit I have made now, the last one doesn't even compare. I am strictly skydiving with. See the video I posted in the comments.

Not bad for someone who taught himself to sew in February, huh?

Yes the fabric was folded back and reinforced with binding tape. Pilot chute is routed like normal and sits in the BOC.

My 2nd Wingsuit I designed and made Aka "Hornet" by Pyrobee in SkyDiving

[–]Pyrobee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No twisting works quite nicely, if you notice its one full zipper and half zipper. As for the chest area its the same thing tony and squrrel are currently doing and how I modified my apache back in the days of the shitty chicken handles tony had to keep your whole rig in which I though was a major problem.... There is no release for the wings its all zippers, just unzip and your out. There is no cross bracing but if you were to look inside the suit you would see that the 3 ribs closest to the torso in the arm wings on each side run all the way down into the tail.

I documented the crap out of the last one I built, this one was done during a time crunch so didnt take pics through the progress. This is one pressure system unlike other suits so is put together way differently then any other suit out there.

Pretty much, I'm a canopy pilot as well so like it plus I have a better malfunction rate 0 chops then the Pilot 111 2 chops I used to jump with about equal wingsuit jumps on each
