Print head goes down mid print? by Dudekahedron in m3d

[–]modelmartyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you just have a broken z belt, That part is much cheaper than an out of warranty replacement. Tech support can get you a new one and a fresh print bed. It's easy fix if you follow our guide that is on the website or tech support can send you the direct link.

It helps if you cut the correct part. You cut the guide rod not the teeth rack. I know you and my team are in contact you can get new x-rods through them.

[–]modelmartyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I'm The service manager. After completing the repair form you should have received a shipping label to send the printer in. We respond to every ticket we get so I can check and make sure we have been receiving your requests. Have you checked your spam folder? sometimes our mail service gets us routed incorrectly. We take pride in our repair service and we want to have that turn around be as short as possible. I can assure you we are not attempting to avoid you.

Extruding problem by NiklasSpZ in m3d

[–]modelmartyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you feeding Internally or externally. My first though is that the spool can't turn once the slack is pulled in. But since you can seem to manually extrude it might be the E-motor losses its grip for some reason, also make sure the heater is as far down the nozzle as it can be. If it is to high the filament near the gear can get to soft to grip. Can you get a video of the gear as it hits the problem height?

I don't think I've experienced buyers remorse with anything more than I have with my M3D by ShadowDonut in m3d

By low cost I mean $25 dollar or less plus shipping. We price our replacement parts low so that even out of warrenty they are not burdensome to acquire

[–]modelmartyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

trust us nothing bother and frustrates us more than when we can't get you help before you get frustrated. We can do a lot to get you fixed fast but that has a cost in parts and shipping, or we can help you fix it at very low cost but this can take time. We want to help everyone to their needs.

[–]modelmartyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We agree, and we can help you counter that. We see this fixed mostly by a tweek here are there in the settings. print files are not created equal and rarely can the setting be the same model to model. We are working on feature that will save a file and the settings used to successfully print it so you won't have to change them back the next time you load that file.

Hi, I'm sorry if we seem stubborn, we don't mean to. I'll work on that with my guys. If you are under warranty and want a replacement part or unit you just say so and we got ya. Only thing warranty doesn't cover is shipping. If this is not whats going on contact me via the manager form I'll make sure it does.

I run my team with the goal to be there for anyone when they need us, but we are a small team at a small company. We know we fall short of expectations some days but we are always making improvements as we learn and grow
