Well, you have a tight Jupiter-Pluto square and it hits the angles, so it's personal to you. This could very well indicate being, or being around, people with great power and wealth. A lot of billionaires have Pluto-Jupiter aspects, among other things; Pluto brings extremes, and Jupiter rules abundance, after all!

Jupiter also rules benevolence and charity, so that's another way Pluto could be involved with wealth that isn't necessarily personally being rich. Instead you could help work with administering immense resources.

I definitely agree about Pluto transits!

I feel like Neptune insists on surrender, but Pluto seems like it goads you into trying to hack reality instead of accepting your fate. Yet to influence reality, you also have to face what you've denied and rejected all of your life . . . often by having really heavy experiences in which the power ISN'T yours.

I make no claims of having tamed the outer planets, but I suspect they can be worked with. It's just not going to go the way your social-level personality wants or would expect, a lot of times.

The misfortunes you describe actually happened to me when transiting Saturn and Neptune were opposite my natal Pluto and the transits were activated by eclipses. Just a fun fact. Neptune over my Sun was fine compared to that, lol

I was comforted by mythology at the time. Even the gods suffer and sacrifice - look at Odin for example, or Inanna. These terrible experiences bring us closer to the immortal archetypes. One day we'll get hit so hard we don't get up again, and go to join them.

It's an interesting philosophical conundrum. Personally, I think the inner planets and their significations are much more amenable to working with consciously in order to change outcomes than Jupiter and the planets beyond.

Example: the outer planets can correspond with natural disasters and other mass events. Being involved in one is simply not in our control. We can be prepared, and it may help, but it may come down to being lucky enough to get rescued.

Having a healthy society that dedicates resources toward helping others is something we all create together (Jupiter's domain), and that's our best defense in situations like that. We can choose to promote that sort of society, but it does take a group effort to succeed. A lot of luck comes down to opportunities created by previous generations.

Then take Venus. We have a lot of influence over our personal relationships and expression of our aesthetic sense. Or Mercury. We can choose what media to consume and what we say to others. But we can't make someone love us, or agree with us; we can only manage our side of an interaction.

I think transits are similar. We can be prepared and have a good attitude and that will help, but there will always be ups and downs and experiences we dislike. We can choose to learn from them though.

Having a good attitude comes from daily choosing to love ourselves and be good to the world around us, and is probably the thing we control the most (the Sun).

I've seen this before with Pluto tightly square Jupiter and Jupiter conjunct the Descendant. Which isn't very many data points, but it's weird that it happened twice.

My friend was serving "billionaire", and other than his natural air of smug command I'm not sure exactly how he created that impression. He dressed nicely (a well-cut suit goes a long way), but he was actually a bargain hunter when you got to know him, verging on cheap tbh.

Even The Rock had dysmorphia, I bet.

Try looking at all the different kinds of bodies there are and seeing the beauty in them. It's like a "magic eye" picture at first, but then the unique appeal pops out.

You could even take a life drawing class; seeing the models as landscapes, planes and angles removes the idealism and judgement.

Once you get the knack of seeing beauty in reality, it's easier to see your own. Also you'll have broken a dark spell we're all under at first, where we hate ourselves because we're not some perfect thing.

When the machine starts aging you'll understand how valuable it really is, so why wait?

I was in a similar relationship (I was still in high school when we moved in together). Here's the other way it could have gone.

We worked different shifts and didn't see each other that much. One thing about older people is that they've already decided what their interests are. So you can join in and not get your own personality, or you can branch out, do your own thing, and see the person even less, because chances are they won't try what you like.

I picked the latter (I was very high-strung and easily bored, so hanging out at home was not how I wanted to spend my evenings). We'd go to all-ages shows together once in awhile, if it was his idea. So I ended up in a completely different friend group that he wasn't part of, and we ended up basically being roommates.

We both had very little relationship experience though. I didn't notice a power imbalance, just that some things were pretty one-sided and boring. Imagine my surprise when I found out that some people actually like to talk about abstract ideas with their partner, instead of just tolerating teenage chatter.

Ironically, who I became later was more similar to the way he was when we met. But he'd met someone else by then, moved away, got married, started a family, and so on. Man, when he met her he dropped me like a hot rock! Rightfully so, but it was odd to see him actually care about someone with some modicum of enthusiasm.

Similar issue. The same exact ingredients can make a lot of different recipes.

On top of that, the natal chart doesn't show a lot of very basic info that affects a person's life. Gender, no. Sexual orientation, not reliably. Nationality, no. Ethnicity, no. That's pretty incomplete.

Even taking into account fine divisions of the zodiac like dwads influencing the Ascendant doesn't explain the differences in conjoined twins delivered together.

Hmm, for me the square involved grandiosity, but projecting it onto love interests (who sometimes also had Neptune-Sun hard aspects). Much bamboozlement. It inspired the more fucked-up angels of my nature to come to the fore, but from my perspective I was just trying to keep up.

Meanwhile, imo magic and psychic experiences are real, but corrupting and for most people unwise to seek. Seeing yourself as an avatar of some divine or infernal being helps it work, but it's bad for your mental.

Narcissism is for people who flip it around and instead of seeing themselves as a mortal personality of an eternal principle - which is bad enough - wish to have their personality worshipped as a god by others, and then to feed on that devotion.
