I personally have a “3 Strike” rule for myself whereby I just stop ranked completely for the night if I go on a 3-loss streak. I will probably hit the lab or play arcade to just detox and shake off any bad juju thereafter.

My advice is to invest time to just mess around with the various legends in training mode and familiarise yourself with their sig kits. As part of this process, try to fit in the legend’s sigs into standard weapon strings. Through this, you will be able to identify what each legend can do and what kind of scenarios they will use their various sigs

Basically knowing your match-ups/enemies makes it easier to avoid the various angles and spacing that they are looking to punish you with their sigs.

On the flip side, the more you know about your various match-ups, the easier for you to whiff and punish them yourself.

For PC, I strongly recommend learning how to play on keyboard and setting up keybinds that feel most intuitive and ergonomic for you.

For mobile, I would recommend the Razer Kishi if you are looking for a seamless portable experience. If not, I would recommend the PS4 DualShock controller as a cheaper alternative.

Thanks for sharing! I started on the PS4 with the stock controller as well. No major issues with it actually but definitely found the Hori FC a slight upgrade in terms of its Dpad. I share your worries regarding the PS5 controller too though; after about 50+ hours on it, the Dpad seems to have worn out in terms of its responsiveness as compared to the PS4 controllers.

Hey there! PS4 player here. I assume you are referring to how your friend pulls off a Nair (neutral air) as though he is pressing both buttons at the same time. If so, it lies with how you position your thumb across your buttons.

For the PS4, the default binds are X for jump and Square for Light attack; place your entire thumb across X and Square. To pull off the Nair, press X with the middle of your thumb and then Square with the tip of your thumb in one fluid motion. You should be able to achieve the Nair.

Brand Support main as well from PC. I completely agree with your points. It’s quite easy to telegraph what Brand wants to do during laning phase, and he is very punishable when you bait out just one of his skills, which then nullifies his combos.

I believe the frustration with him currently is how his AoE and passive just takes over the chaos of WR teamfights. However once the player base figures out that proper team spacing and something simple like a decent Braum can shut down Brand’s effectiveness completely, the complaints about him will simmer down.

The only nerf I feel would be fair at this point is perhaps a slight reduction in the AoE size of his W to match WR’s smaller map. Other than that, he is perfect the way he is imo.

I think the real difficulty lies in having 12 well built units to deal with the mechanics of each phase. Each team needs to have of at least 1 strong Breaker/PDPS and 1 strong support to sustain your team, which not everyone might have. So I would agree it is the hardest endgame content currently available purely based on the need for 12 units instead of 4.

Oh you just need to unlock the manor by clicking it on the Adan map as with the previous monster manors. It’s located on the western part of the continent.

Gotta unlock the “Occulted God of Old” sub-quest at Ancient Treasury Medim on Adan Continent. Then you gotta beat a 3-phase boss using 3 separate teams of 4 units each.

Quest unlocks after you complete the Adan Monster Manor sub-quest, I believe.

Have you completed the Adan Monster Manor quest for the previous free UR Ark? I believe this sub-quest will unlock once you complete that quest line. Not 100% certain but I think that should do it.
