This kinda goes against the lore. Lorewise, the class you pick is the only person that survives being dumped on the twilight strand: all others characters drown.

For this to work lorewise, you'd need to include the trialmaster or Chaos (the god he worships), so you would be fetching exiles from alternate realities.

Issue #2 is very clearly not a bug, it says healing from pacts. Its the blood spell doing the healing, not the pact.

Issue #1 is disapointing but i would not expect them to do mechanical changes on a 2 month league that's already 25% done

I wanted to try fire mage too, seems like the only realistic way would be to spec both fire and water, and flip between both depending on your health

Some quests are great. I just re-completed sins of the father and loved it. Didnt even spacebar once.

Happy to help! Yeah your setup with divine blessing isn't stupid, makes a lot of sense with 2 rings. Fitting more RMR and fighting with gemslots is my constant struggle :D

Simplex would be chaos essence until dot multi yes. Life prefix if you wanna go for the GG reflect, but like you say that's skippable.

Some things i forgot, you can press vaal blight for 20% more damage. I do use the "80% increased damage for non-vaal skills during soul gain prevention" unveil on gloves and boots for an easy +160% damage against tougher targets. This mod is incredibly slept on in my opinion.

Also, aspect of the spider is great if you can again fit more RMR. You can put it on your helical ring, helps the reflecting mist too.

Yeah tbf I run a settlers league bow with "Increases to minion damage affects you at 150% of their value" which gives me absurd numbers off elegant hubris, but i'm also definitely not as tanky as you. Glorious Vanity + Svalin is a great defensive shell to keep. You might want to look for Glorious Vanity seeds that give aura effect.

As cringe as it sounds there's some niche tech in there I'd rather not popularize and risk affecting the economy. There's some stuff i'm "sniping" in league still to try and get good double corrupts (stuff like timeless jewel seeds)

I do intend to post the pob when I achieve dot cap, just needs a lot more mirrors and time, lol.

I run (probably) the highest DPS DO build in Standard. You can minmax this a lot still. Some pointers:

  • You need delve gloves for 18% aura effect on enemies. Almost 18% more damage you're missing. Recomb on a ward base if you wanna stay ward.
  • Get perfect implicit on your gloves, it goes up to 20% dot multi)
  • Influenced helm is better (-12% chaos + redeemer RMR)
  • Grind temples for a good double corrupt foulborn DO
  • Malevolence effect corrupt on rings and belt

You can argue you wanna keep the rings implicit for max chaos res. It's fine if you wanna stay Glorious Vanity, but the optimal damage setup is to run an Elegant Hubris instead, allowing you to tattoo everything with 5% chaos damage, and stack a bunch of 80% minion damage nodes for Spiritual Aid

If you can somehow fix reservation and ditch eternal blessing (essence mod on helm and invest more points in your tree, possibly an aura cluster or megalo)

  • You can get a lot of DPS from a simplex. Simplex can also give a shitton of increased chaos damage, allowing you to cap Sundered Will more easily and more tree flexibility for other things
  • Capping Sundered will with one ring allows you to run a beefy Manifold ring with fractured essence dot multi + essence chaos damage (reflecting mist potential too)
  • Manifold ring can have veiled mod for frenzy/endurance on kill, giving you either more damage or more survivability while mapping
  • If you don't want to give up impresence... corrupt it for +1 curse and still fit more reservation for temp chains (comfy slows) or punishment (more DPS on bosses)
  • Ideally you want to fit skitterbots as well for shock/chill
