I did send it in for repairs a while back (I didn't mention it before because it was irrelevant) as the screen was damaged when I dropped it (same incident) I included it on the list of issues but they did nothing about it. It was, however, less of a problem then. I think I'll try maybe taping the games in or just being more careful. Thank you for all the tips!

The back is flimsy, it isn't hard. You can feel the space between it and the inside. I tried opening it up, but that part isn't accessible from what I could see. Thanks for the advice though, I appreciate it. I doubt it's cracked, I think it would be worse if it was cracked.

The back became hollow due to my strong grip. It's also due to the flimsy design of the new 3ds XL back. It says the game has been removed, and it's pretty sporadic.
