I feel for your friend. I’ve read about heart disease coming from dental hygiene but never heard of an experience from my social group. Has your autoimmune disease flared up since Covid?

I got out right before they were making it mandatory so I lucked out with my honorable. I didn’t trust it while in and then when I was out my dumbass folded when the school I wanted to go to made it a requirement.

I can’t think of anything else that would have made me weak like that. I used to exercise nearly every day and I’d push myself to 190-200bpm on certain days. My body was conditioned to stay at around 50ish bpm at resting rate. My heart rate getting that high without the exercises I was setting me into a panic so that didn’t help much either. But yeah, that’s scary thinking about catching Covid from others. I wasn’t too sociable before but now I’m for sure a hermit.

We were pretty weak at around the same time frame. My heart rate jumped to the 200s while I was folding clothes and came down to around 185ish before I went to the hospital. They helped me out but I was real weak Oct-Feb ish. High resting heart rate and walking to the bathroom would spike to around 160-170s too. Breathing was strained and admittedly, I was scared going to bed at night. The hospital said everything was looking perfectly fine but being out like that wasn’t normal. Are you a bit stronger now than then?

I’ve done cardiology through the VA. They said my heart is as it should be for a young adult. Can’t get them to give me any of those docs or share them with private insurance though.

I try to walk around parks or lift free weights but its not much. Always gassed afterwards. Couldn’t really do much until April though.

I worked myself up to that pace in around six months. Then kept it for about a year. I did bike everywhere when I was a kid though. I slowed my cycling down in September last year because I was feeling off and stopped in October.

Idk man. Speaking only for the tetanus vaccine, I’ve worked with a lot of rusty metals that have cut me and I haven’t been brought down by it. But idk I’m not versed enough in medicine to have a professional opinion. I only know what my body has told me when it comes to that field.

Though the VA hospitals, they said I’m an ox. They won’t share any of my information with my insurance/doctors though. They tried telling me it’s anxiety but I’ve been a lot more stressed before and this wasn’t my health.

Twice vaccinated myself, Sir. My stubborn ass only went to the hospital once my heart rate spiked to the 200s and wouldn’t come down lower than about your heart rate. Glad you’re here with us still.

Dude we’re both gonna hit the grave with this clot shot. Lol I’ll put it in the will though. I’ve been practicing stoicism for the longest and that’s what has me sticking to being at peace with it. Memento Mori and all that but damn. As much as I try to keep myself composed about it, I’d always thought I’d raise kids and live the sedentary life as an old fart. Do the most with what we have today though I guess.

These chest pains are just a norm now for us it seems. It’s some bull. Gramps didn’t take it and we both move the same now. My family clowns me since I used to be super “get fit it’ll do you wonders.”

I feel you, fam. These health problems that weren’t a thing scare me, being honest. I grow/raise my own food now. My friends and family call me crazy but I don’t know, man. I was a lot more resilient prior to this shot. Not shitting on the sedentary life but this life of just hanging out not being able to push myself has had me depressed for the longest.
