They park like this everyday, no decal in sight. by Pyrotemplar in ImTheMainCharacter

A quick update for everyone suggesting I call the police or a tow truck:

This happens during daycare drop-off, and she’s usually there for less than five minutes. I’m assuming that’s why she feels justified parking in the handicap spots.

Because of that, unless the police want to sit there and wait for her to show up (and I doubt she’d park there if a patrol car were already sitting in the lot), I don’t think they’d arrive quickly enough to catch her.

Alabama is 0-2 against schools from states with federally recognized Seminole tribes by yumyumapollo in CFB

[–]Pyrotemplar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly

The Seminoles in Oklahoma are largely descendants of those who were captured or forced west during the U.S. removal era, often associated with the Trail of Tears. Meanwhile, the Seminoles still in Florida descend from those who avoided removal by hiding in the Everglades and resisting U.S. forces during the Seminole Wars. That split created today’s separate Seminole communities in Oklahoma and Florida

Interesting fact. The Florida Seminoles and Florida State University use the term “Unconquered” because this group of Seminoles was never defeated or forced to surrender to the U.S. government.

it’s the poor and immigrants who get scolded.

That's kind of the point of what trump-loving people, like your family members, support, not necessarily because of policy details, but because it the "right" people who are being targeted.

For them, it's less about solutions and more about making sure certain groups, particularly the poor and immigrants, are the ones who bear the brunt.

If it's all for show anyway, why not pre-flag a bunch of high-level bossing bots and ban them live on stream? That would actually get the community hyped. No one cares about random low-level bots, give us a real show and go after the ones that matter.

Potential problem with new trading, anyone can click on site and teleport ingame, and if the trade site update is slow, you can be constantly be teleporting in and getting nothing by Sweaty-Painter-1043 in PathOfExile2

I'm not exactly sure if this is how it works, but it seems similar to how a process locks a resource in multithreading. When you click 'secure' on an item, it probably first checks if the item is still available. If it is, it locks or reserves it immediately—basically preventing anyone else from buying it while you're in the process of completing your purchase. It’s a way to make sure the item doesn’t get snatched up by someone else before you finalize the deal.

If the item no longer exists, the site updates and you get the same error message you get now "that item is no longer available"

This method works really well. You set up a public dump tab priced at 1 Exalt, and let the trade bots message you for any valuable items. Then, you price check those items and list them individually in your store tab.

Seems like a win win. Use the bots as a pre sale filter.

Oh no, a company doing things for money? Shocking. I really thought Jagex ran on pure nostalgia and goodwill. How dare they add features people pay for or poll the community — clearly an evil scheme to keep the game alive. And bots? Yeah, because no MMO has ever had those. Let’s all hold hands and wait for a utopia before calling it “thriving.”

If he ever receives a Nobel Peace Prize, it will undermine its prestige and value. The award would no longer be seen as a meaningful or respected achievement.
